traditional radio only has to pay royalties to the composers.

the reason why tradition radio has to pay royalties only to the composers, and not producers and artists is that: traditional radio stimulates sales, whereas internet radio does not...

it's not yet the final verdict, but this might have some serious consequences on internet radio in general, but underground music in particular.
