Way back in high school,, PBS showed this documentary on Black American music. It was about two weeks long I think with an hour to 2 hour long shows.
Well I remember seeing the first one about Slave hymns and such and then I lucked up and saw the one about the 80's. They went into depth about the mainstream artist but they also did about 30 minutes each on the start of hip-hop and Detroit Techno. Does anyone recognize this. I've been looking for this show for years.
