You may have seen the review posted a while back of Theo Parrish playing in
Belgium - I was also there and while he was pretty good for the first part of
his set, he really lost it and did absolutely nothing to try and regain the
floor. First time I had seen him out and frankly I was unimpressed - he is
clearly a good dj but unfortunately disappeared up his a*s later on. No word
of a lie - at one point he was playing to a virtually empty room while the
local residents rocked the other one. A bit of a let down, but maybe it was an
off day.... I may check out the London one - nice to see there are others
people in Canary Wharf, Dang! - Over in one Canada Square, but leaving work
tomorrow.
What did he do, start playing Trance all of a sudden. One of the best
things about Theo is his track selection. If his mixes
weren't up to my dancing feet, I'd probably plop down onto a chair and
enjoy a nice mixture of tunes from the present and
past.
Let Theo know if he's not appreciated over the pond, that we still love
him over here... We might not pay the big paychecks, but
we do appreciate a good song when we here one.. ;)
