I just got sent a 10" called 'Save The World' by MN-RG on a label called RZ.
The press release claims that it is one of the original pressing of 500 from
1988 which was intended for export but was somehow overlooked at the time
and so has sat in an Illinois warehouse for the last fifteen years.

I'm a bit doubtful about this story, to be honest, as I was sent it by a
well-known promotions company here in the UK - if there are only 500 of
them, why would they bother sending a hundred or so out as promos? I ran a
quick search and the record came up for sale on Nuloop.com alongside another
two RZ releases, one dated 1988, one dated 2003.

So does anyone know anything about this label or record? Is there any chance
this story is genuine? Were labels even pressing acid tracks onto 10"s back
then? It's not a bad track, by the way - fairly standard 'Acid Trax' type of
thing.

Any help would be appreciated,

TOM
