nice one. very much enjoying this CiM bizness (on the second playthrough, actually)
and yeah, diggin the yotoko to be sure-- quite a diversity of rhythms and some pretty imaginative stuff. (ihmo, domu's just killin' it.) that starfighterz ep is also really cool. just about the right amount of broken for my tastes. sound-wise, it doesn't seem to break new ground as much as the yotoko album, but does a really nice job taking atmospheric detroit techno even further into the future. i'd love to have a couple hours of this stuff on my iPod for workin'. (this is what i imagined/hoped that Nu Era 'Broken Techno' record would sound like before i heard it.) -d --- Phonopsia <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Hans Veneman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "dave cronin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2003 10:23 PM > Subject: Re: (313) futuristisms online? > > > > On 9 dec 2003, at 22:31, dave cronin wrote: > > > i'm sitting here at work wearing out the delsin > > > sectors of my iPod, and was wondering if anybody > has > > > any suggestions for some quality futuristic > listening > > > stuff online (in the vein of delsin, emoticon, > etc.) > > > > Check out the CiM live in Chicago recording at > > http://www.warmdata.net/audio.html > > Great stuff... > > > 2nd'd that.
