Derrick can actually make that claim, but then it's his own fault for no one WANTING to approach him. He has a long-standing reputation for being an a_shole and it's well deserved. A buddy of mine approached him after he did a set at Solar in Ann Arbor. The guy just wanted to kick it with him for a moment. Derrick insulted him and basically told him take a hike. Rob came back to me shaking his head saying "what an a_shole!!! That guy is a total d_ck!". If someone you knew tried to have a small conversation with Derrick, only to get results like that, would YOU be quick to try to talk to him?
