Haha. You're gonna regret you asked. :)

Well... the Boomkat purchase was pretty anomolous, just piggybacking my
order with my flatmate and her boyfriend, and I doubt I'll use them much in
future. They are way overpriced, for shipping and for the initial cost. Plus
it just pisses me off when stores list their prices pre-VAT. But as you
know, I think Piccadilly is the dog's nuts. Their prices are always
reasonable if not outstanding, the shipping discounts I mentioned yesterday
totally hooks me up when I tend to do a huge monthly order, the service is
amazing and they seem like genuinely nice folk, which is a pretty rare thing
in record stores. Plus someone's gotta pay Danny's wage. ;)

But as to why I don't use the London stores much, firstly it's a matter of
availability. Things go before I can count on getting them, and Piccadilly
stocks 90% of what I want. Second, their site/emails couldn't be easier to
use. Third, I have this mentality of supporting one store first and
foremost, where they can count on my business and I can count on them
hooking me up. And last but not least, I don't trust myself in record stores
any farther than I can throw myself (and I'm a wuss). Online shopping =
damage control for me.
