>hi folks. over the weekend, i was happy to discover that a "platinum
projects" label had licensed some $tinkworx >trax. the EP consists of
whut, yinmao, and a remix of phrenic's mischa. definitely some quality
tunes here. the >record shop owner told me that the original 7" EP on RH
was a bad pressing... poor sound quality.

I think the original 7" was on downlow, and then rushhour did a 12". The
12" I have from rushhour is ok I think.

the tracks were taken from the first two releases on down low, both 7"s. neither were bad pressings, altho they do sound like 7"s. they were re-mastered and re-released on a ltd rushhour 12" and now again on platinum projects at 45 rpm.

I think that platinum projects is pretty new, and is in someway related to
mowax, but I'm not sure about that. maybe same parent company?

when it started it was presented as a new sublabel of mo'wax, but now they dont seem to mention that. like mo'wax, it is owned by xl. http://platinumprojects.com
