April - September 2004
Album Release:
"Let your ears be the receiver" - 26.04.2004
Label:
multiColor recordings

Artist Info:
Air Liquide, founded in Frankfurt, Germany in 1991 as a
platform within the so-called "New Frankfurt Electronic
School" is the electronic institution with heart and soul.
Continuously they have opened to a great variety of styles
and to new electronic trends to become a stylistic
trademark and trend setters themselves at the same time,
who mark their claim on the international music stages. Not
in vain the British 'New Musical Express' bestowed the
unbeatable and unapplicable title of nobility "first
electronic supergroup since Kraftwerk" upon them in 1995.

By releasing "Let Your Ears Be the Receiver" Air Liquide
maintain their unique position in the electronic Pop
business. Without batting a sound file they connect the
tradition of German intellectual curiosity with black Soul
& Funk and an almost Caribbean elasticity. Their current
(and twelfth) album "Let Your Ears Be the Receiver" is
closer to the audience, as well as to the real club
philosophy, than each release before, because Cem Oral
(Jammin' Unit, Berlin) and Ingmar Koch (Dr. Walker,
Cologne) installed their recording equipment in the centre
of the dancefloor of their own club!

This release as well as the ones before has been supported
by well-known vocalists: Mary S. Applegate, band member
from the early beginnings, wrote lyrics for Boney M.,
Jennifer Rush and Kim Wilde. Marcea has been member of a
renowned US gospel choir (the classicÂ…). Khan (Captain
Comatose), the brother of Jammin' Unit, successfully has
turned the electronic events of music inside out himself ?
from New York over the last years and since a few months in
his new homebase Berlin. Universal Mike (who sang the title
track) passed away shortly after the vocal recordings,
under mysterious circumstances.

Air Liquide will present their new Album on a Tour this
Summer!
