>eh? Plasticman's tunes sounds nothing like Dizzee, he's not even
an MC.

no but plasicman and wiley and dizzee all came from the same
movement. its really not that hard to figure out. roll deep tunes
are in the same sub sub category as plasticman. simple.

to be entirely honest, i cant exactly remember when the first
white labels he put out were around. he was on the ukgarage
worldwide forums back when i was writing reviews for them. around
summer 2002 is when this nonsense took over and my garage buying
dropped to basically zero. i remember passing on dizze's "luv u"
as well as numerous other joints by all those related cats. and i
remember listening to dubplate.net's stuff when the first
plasticman joints were on there. and i didnt like them then, and
dont like them now. i may be talking trash but i was way into that
scene when the 8 bar / grime / whatever sound took over and ive
been an observer since.

maybe if i didnt watch it kill everything that made uk garage a
good form of dance music i wouldnt hate it so much, youre right.
but i certainly wouldnt be playing the records and probably
wouldnt ever go out of my way to hear it. im a reactionary type
fellow, but if the music was good id get over it.
