I am not 100 percent won over by this album. It's very MOR to me. I like it,
but I don't love it. I still think the young 'uns are giving him a run for
his diamonds and pearls, even if they lack his musical genius (and scope).
Andre 3000 has the flair, Pharrell the eccentricity (and pop ethos and sheer
prolific-ness), Moodymann the mystique...
I don't think the romantic content would compromise his Witness status,
since he focusses on marriage not macking, but the political missive of Dear
Mr Man (aimed at Bush) would - I thought JW's were discouraged from
participating in politics or nationalistic things as it recognises an
authority other than Jehovah. I guess Prince is contradictory as ever!

Am totally excited to see Adina Howard back, he he. No freak songs though.
