these tracks weren't so naive, raw, and unpretentious, I thgink I'd be less
inclined to like them. I'm a sucker for basic and unpolished. To me, if
there's a 'soul' to be seen, you'll see it more clearly that way. Don't get
me wrong. D.I.E isn't particularly deep. It's about fun. That seems to
count
for a lot right now.

d.i.e. is so deep, stop playin!! i'm serious. their stuff is way deep.
strings! echoes! vox from the men you'll never see...and they sound like
cybotron because well, some of their stuff samples the hell out of cybotron!
that will make you sound deep too. they also sampled my favorite egyptian
lover track...
d.i.e. rules. i hope they play the festival.
they used to be known as cybonix (in effect!) on d-bass. i only have d-bass
stuff on old teep tapes but that stuff is soo dope too...bass techno,
blazing...i wish i could track down vinyl but it's very rare these days...
