Apologies for the lack of relevance to non-UK 313ers, but here's a little update about what's happening on the 313 party front. Some of you might remember the series of 313 nights we had at Public Life last year - and this year we're hoping to move up to bigger and better things.
In conjunction with Little Detroit and the Outlet Collective, we're currently in the process of organising a boat party on the Thames which should hopefully be happening late July or early August. If you've never been on one of these boat parties before, the deal is that you launch at about 11.30pm and go up and down the river for three or four hours, with no serious limits on noise, a constantly changing view, and a generally nautical atmosphere all round... What would be good at this stage is if you could email me off-list to let me know if you'd be interested in coming along to a 313/LD boat party - whether you're in the UK or think you might be in the UK around that time of year. If enough people seem interested in the idea then the boat will be booked and the date confirmed in the next couple of weeks! Brendan
