If you get the supreme chance please go see pianist
Chris OReilly play his Radiohead concert.

I saw this concert last night in Philadelphia at the
Kimmel Center and it was incredible. OReilly (host of
NPR's 'From the Top') has taken songs from all across
the Radiohead board (even ones the band has only
performed once) and completely resscripted them for
the piano. He also played two Elliot Smith songs.

He played songs from his album of covers and some
that he's recently rescripted. Many other composers are
doing this too-but this was just so beautiful to hear
and done with such passion from a huge Radiohead
fan...that can also bang out concertos. He mentioned
last night they were taping the concert for reairing
on his show a week from now.

I think he said WXPN...not 100% though.

He plays with nothing else. Just him. The audience
ranged from 17 year olds to 70 year olds. It was just
incredible...

sorry..i'm still in post-concert happy land.
i wonder if one can snort caffeine.
