I don't think it applies, but the 4 records that Panoptcia put out on Certificate 18 a couple of years ago are really good. They sample the Nortec style of music that is popular in northern Mexico, but it is so heavily processed and chopped you really can't tell.
I also have a white label by Fussible on Head and Arm (UK?) that has a latin house kind of feel to it because of the horns...also relies heavily on the Nortec sound... I guess that is why they call themselves Nortec Collective...
