just picked up a few items last night Amplified Orchestra vs Dexter - "Funk Force/2 Brownies & a Bassline" on Clone - apparently only 500 copies? Doesn't matter, it's the best electrofunk I've heard in ages (from outside Detroit)
Alton Miller feat. Sky -"Choose to Believe" on Deeper Soul Recordings - has remix by Sweet Abraham originally on Mahogani Music but I guess it was only a 3 min sample - the full 7 minutes are on this newish release. also picked up a sweet NY/NJ house 12" out of the sale bins - can't recall the details but I seem to remember that Kenny Bobien lends his vocals to it I think one of the tracks is called "Going back to Zanzibar" or something like that. Big vocal tracks and one in particular is a stunner. I'll post more details later. MEK
