Hi Toby, that is the main reason i like "A lot of this new German stuff "....i find it to be an evolution of acid house - IMHO most minimal house/tech-house/whatever is seriously influenced by Chicago and acid-house. Most producers (of these styles) i have spoken to in germany, both known and unknown artists, all list Chicago acid house and acid in general, as one of their biggest influences....
