Just spotted this on the Red Bull Music Academy website: First up on the couch today, is 22-year-old Croydon Grime producer/DJ Chris Reed a/k/a recent Rephlex signing Plasticman (with a 'c' my friends, with a 'c'). Chris talked about the evolution of UK Garage music - which if you're not following it with a magnifying glass you'd be forgiven for being confused about as it seems every second day there is some new sub-sub-sub genre terminology being bandied about. But as Chris puts it, "it's not sub-lo, it's not eski, it's not 8-bar, it's all about grime, man."
