LOL - I think that's pretty funny. As much as I find discogs a great place
to spend many hours I often find it to be very strange.
Lately I've been seeing records on discogs with the genre tag "Jazzdance"
which only brings to mind images of Liza Minelli and Bob Fosse.

so i tried to submit a change to Mr. Scruff's "Shrimp!" 12" on
discogs. they have the genre listed as "Abstract, Breaks" which is
really funny since its a house tune with lots of italo disco
influence. so i tried to change the genres to "Deep House, Italo-
Disco" and put in the comments section "it may seem strange to
have a mr scruff tune listed as italo and house, but its true, it
sounds very much like metro area", which i thought summed up the
feeling of this 12" nicely. it was rejected with a single comment
from someone called "mayday": "Metro Area sound nothing like
Italio Disco". WTF are these people smoking?
