>From what I can understand from Toby and Emile's minor irritation, the
reissue project is not out yet.

The good thing about this is that a lot of back catalogue stock is
appearing. I still think it's worth picking up some of this old stuff -
as a fan. Whilst Kraftwerk now say that the reissues will better
represent the way they wanted to present the records viusually and
aurally, how they *actually* came out is of historical interest to some
of us. I'm particularly anxious not to miss out on 'imperfectly' (i.e.
imperfect due to the limitations of reproduction technology at the time)
pressed 70s Kraftwerk music. I recently bought the 'Trans Europe
Express' LP on vinyl and it's magnificent of course. I just find the
relative tinniness compared to today's standards of low-end and band
width a vital characteristic of the time, which adds rather than
subtracts from the quality of the music. At the same time, I can't wait
to here the remastered version either!

It's all good.

List, sorry to ask this again but...

did Kraftwerk release "The Catalog" on vinyl, cd, or both? Or are they
still working on it?
