I stumbled across this eddie fowlkes album last night while re-organizing my collection. I haven't listened to these trax in years. This is still a great collection of eddie's early work. I had heard, however that there was some friction between fowlkes and the 3mb crew during production. Can anyone confirm or elaborate? It's one way that they got such brilliant results out of many producers whose 'challenged' origins inevitably made some of them 'difficult to work with'. Arguably, those German folks are still getting great results in the same way, today. K
