Hi, the A side of my copy of prince's 1999 has some distortion on the vocals, especially on "little red corvette". The overall quality of the a-side is quite bad, actually. The other sides of this double album sound so much better. Could it be that the previous owner listened a lot to the a side and didn't bother about the other cuts, or is this distorted sound on the A-side a matter of recording quality (so it would be on all the pressings, at least of this run). Anyone got an idea?
