He got knocked back at customs unfortunately- he answered "business" 
when asked "business or pleasure?"- not the wisest of moves when you 
don't have a valid work permit!  I doubt we'll see him in the UK for 
quite a while- once you get a black mark on your passport it's pretty 
tough to get it sorted out
