Most don't bother I don't think.

However, you need a willing and busy dj agent I guess to give you a little
advice.

Probably the rule of thumb is, big dj who makes a living from it probably
(?) pays taxes etc, smaller underground dj/producer probably doesn't
bother, and just takes the cash in hand.

The majority of promoters bringing these type of dj's are enthusiasts and
don't pay tax/vat etc. all cash in hand.

Larger clubs, say for example Fabric, usually make the dj sign a waiver
saying they sort out their own tax/national insurance etc etc etc. They (as
promoters) can then claim back tax on the money spent on 'performers'.
Basically this covers their backsides.

I'd say fire off a few emails to larger clubs. Maybe Fabric and the End?

And try a few dj agents.... hopefully you'll get one who isn't an utter
a**ehole.

good luck!

Alex
