thats silly. thats complete lack of forethought on the part of whoever arranged the venue and oversaw the "booth" setup. then again, it IS a tough thing to isolate tables from all the noise and vibration, just look at what motor ended up doing to make their platform stable, even in the same room as an avalon system:
