also minto told me a funny little bit about kenny larkin playing in dallas a few weeks ago...he played a couple decent tracks but lots of not too great stuff, so minto went up and was like ..hey kenny, why don't you play some of your own stuff, off metaphor or something? ...and kenny said, no way, if i play techno everybody'll leave!
