Not too sure about the French scene overall, but I picked up this live
album by I:Cube the other day that is really fantastic. Kind of a
"minimal" house/techno affair that is more atmospheric and less dry
than, say, Luciano's sound. Apparently he recorded this live set at
the Planetarium in Paris early last year, which I think is at the
Science & Industry Museum.

I would recommend checking it out.

What else is going on in Paris these days, is there much good techno about?
I only ever hear about nights at Rex and very occasional ones at Nouveau
Casino - are there many less obvious nights happening as well?
In fact, what's happening in the French scene generally at the moment,
anything secret and interesting we don't hear about?!
