I started laughing in the middle of an office full of people when Ron

Yeah we all laughed when he said that, so funny.

If it's ever a possibility -- say if you come over for DEMF -- you
have to get a record cut with Ron. That podcast? A solid hour of Ron
Murphy stories completely different than the 2 hours of Ron Murphy
stories I got when I cut a record with him. And while my lacquer was
being cut, he was eating potato salad out of a grocery store tub.

And he really knows and enjoys techno, which is a bit of a shock when
you meet him because he looks like a guy who pull pints in a Swindon
pub, or an over-the-hill green grocer. Part of why Ron is so cool is
that he has never in his life made an effort to be cool, he just is
because of his unique talents.

You can tell he knows his stuff and that he loves what he does, that's so rare these days.

I'm hoping to get over to DEMF but with the fares that high, who knows. I'd love to get something cut by Ron tho...

And when he listened to my record, he picked the tracks that people
would like most.

Really enjoyed all three of these, but the Ron Murphy one is pure gold
