... Was fantastic in Melbourne. The final lecture was Just Blaze of
Jay-Z's camp and he said that the aggression of his tracks comes from
his past listening to techno - he mentioned Detroit techno - and drum
'n' bass. It's rare to hear a hip-hop producer acknowledge 'techno'
in any form. Only Chad Hugo knows it. Timbaland still maintains he's
unfamiliar from what I've read... I believe the Just Blaze lecture is
to be archived, so it's worth a listen. Also from Detroit Black Milk
was a guest. Anyone know much about his work here?
