nice and bangin. A bit overindulgent with the effects processor. He would get a groove going and then kill it right away with a chaotic delay. It guess it was interesting though. I wish he would of played a bit more epic stuff. When a big name DJ comes to a town for the first time I just think they should play a couple of those classic tracks that brought their name's to the forefront (like anything RED maybe, I don't care how old they are!) It just seems that they just throw down what they've been into over the last couple of months, and that's cool; but when most of the crowd is oblivious to what you've done in the past maybe you should school 'em with those ageless tracks. just my .02...... Dissappointed I missed Woody's set in the other room Lil Ronnie played a lot of nice hard funky beats (Hybrid, Primevil) ........recommended DJ Speedy kind of started where DC left off, just a bit trancier, his set had it's definite moments. all in all a good time. next week: The Kooky Scientist...Live looking forward to that.
