The crowd really was great last night. There were plenty of familiar
faces, some people I hadn't seen in far too long, and an overall >great vibe.

I agree completely. It was like a small family reunion except there wasnt any country hicks removeing their teeth and chanceing you with a drill... or maybe that just happens to me... hehehe

One thing that doesn't get noted enough, either - Motor looked really
good! Towers of television screens (courtesy of Detronik, I believe)
formed an arch over the performer's setups. They had plexiglass
dividers hung in the space between the performer's gear and the front
of the audience space, which looked really cool and gave a omfortable
distance between us & "them". Finally, a screen was hung at the back
of the audience space, in front of which dangled plexi squares with
words on them. Very nicely done!

Thanks for the compliment of the video structures. I kind of go by un-noted most of the time, so your compliment is taken to heart. Did you stay till the end? i mixed really funny old toy commercials along with the titontons crazy vinyl scratchs...I noticed alot of people laughing at GI Joe and Barbie being on the monitors.

That night made my blood flow. We have to have more nights like that here in Detroit. God love experimentalism.
