Spot-on. Carl Craig would be the natural choice from all angles: as a musical pioneer, as someone with underground cred, as someone who hasn't deserted the dancefloor, and most importantly (for NY Times, at least) as the kind of major-label tie-in easily found in Tower that major media outlets tend toward . I suppose we should just be happy they didn't pick Sasha as their techno cover-boy... ;) And, to give credit where it's due, the sound clips do include "No UFO's" and "Strings of Life"... .John.
