another very good list to subscribe to for this kind of information is the
PC-DAW list on Yahoogroups. Those guys will give you serious information
about PC audio work. The List is full of very serious and informed people
when it comes to this topic. I cannot remember the subscription address, but
I know that Kent Williams will be able to give it to you.

Yes, logic works with AMD, although emagic have
optimized it for the Pentium chip.
Try subscribing to 313techknow at yahoo groups, it's
an offshoot of 313 for gear talk.
