Hi there, I picked up a record about a year ago in Holland on BPM Records- a French label by the looks of things- called "The correct use of Techno- Vol1- A decade of Detroit Music". It's a strange affair with tracks from R-Tyme (Use Me Carl Craig mix), The Electric Company (Bob Leonarduzzi, Zach Roberts and Eddie Watson), Resse and Santonio (Truth of Self Evidence) and Keith Tucker (Emerald World)- and I rushed home excitedly to put my new found gem on the turntable. Unfortunately the guy in the store had put the wrong record in the sleeve and I was flying back to Scotland the next day. I only recently checked out the record in the sleeve to find that out that I had a different volume of the same series and that this one had tracks by John Tejada, Teknotika, Santonio Echols and others. Which finally brings me to my point- does anybody know who would have put these records together and what is on the other volumes? There is a little speech at the bottom of the sleeve-- "I should thanx so many people for their support If I forget any one I should thank no one, except Mad Mike for his help (and his letters), Chez Damier cause he knows what love is. A special thanx to my Daddy who gave me peace, strength and tranquility and the brand new B.P.M Dream Team Sylvian, Jerome, Eric. Stop to waste your time with drugs!! I know what I'm talking about SR" So, who is our mysterious, drug hating label boss with so many heavy name Techno-bods to call his friend??? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated Cheers Jason Brunton Iridite ------ End of Forwarded Message --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
