Some other artists who I feel have been pushing boundaries in the
retro-electro subgenres.

Isn't that a contradiction? I quite like some of this stuff myself, but I wouldn't really say its pushing the boundaries.

On the subject of pushing the boundaries, I heard the new Drexciya 12" and its quite brilliant.

O/T: If Dennis Donohue is out there, could you send me your address again....Sorry, I lost it again!

(I'm partial to the terms electrodisco and
electrowave myself) recently are:

I-F
Legowelt & Orgue Electronique
Op:l Bastards
Le Syndicat Electronique
G. D. Luxxe
Ellen Allien
Inform3r

... and I always thought mullets were more of a glam rock thing. ;)
They're still quite out of fashion here in Canada (due to the past
association with hockey thugs).

For those who who just can't seem to get enough of the
eighties synth sound, I strongly suggest the album. It
is cleanly produced and put together (the track
selection flows quite well and tight) and I know alot
of work went into it by Sam, Brendan G. and many other
Ghostly crew members to keep it in the barries of
their audio vision. The tracks by Adult., Perspects
and DMX Krew are the ones that stand out strongest on
the album IMHO.

An entire weeks worth of events were recently
dedicated to this sound deemed "electroclash" by the
event's promoters in NYC. (I'm hoping that term
doesn't stick btw). This li'l sub genre seems pretty
strong in Germany and other parts of Europe as well.
I've had the album for some time, and every time I
listen to it I look forward to and ponder what kind of
impact, if any, it will have on bringing the sound
stronger/closer to the states-though from the number
of mullets in nyc, it's already caught on quite well
here;)

Another artistic and fine job by Ghostly.

my medicated dog is licking the carpet for no good
reason,
