i don't know that i feel quite right saying one record is more techno than another. to me, techno is *so* much more than just the "right" sounds and structure. it's difficult to put my finger on it, save for chucking around words like soulful and emotional, but there's a certain vibe running thru the tracks on Vol 3 that i'm a bit of a sucker for.
