Cheers! G CHAIR014 Blackout Theory presents T E L E : P O R T Featured Artists: Moonstarr, Blackout Theory, Lowfish, Archetype, & Cron Title: T E L E : P O R T Catalogue#: CHAIR014 Format: 12 Vinyl E.p. Once again it is time ... to enter the B.O.T. This is the one Blackout Theory presents, TELE:PORT, an e.p. of cutting edge electro from some of the deepest heads of 2002. This release features talent from the minds of: THIS A1. Moonstarr: The Recipe Kevin Moon, (Public Transit Recordings, Compost, Fluid Ounce) PTRs brain on calamari gives us his unique flavour of broken beats and broken clocks. His music has more mathematics to it than organizing Sunday brunch and calculus put together off the hook! Most recently receiving huge support of his solo LP Dupont by Gilles Peterson (Talkin Loud) and Rainer Truby (Compost). A2. Blackout Theory: Choke Chairs own Daniel Lui shows us the subtleties of the strangulation on bass this dark and distorted track just provides more proof that this talented artist knows no limits! A perfect compliment to his first Blackout Theory solo 12 (chair012) (checkout the de-bug review of chair012 at their site). A3. Lowfish: Memory Hole Having released on labels such as Klang Krieg Produktionen, City Centre Offices, and A.D.S.R. to name a few, Gregory De Roche reaches us with a dark and moody piece. Exploring the electro funk realm as championed by such Detroit artists as Drexciya, Ectomorph, Adult and Dopplereffekt De Roche puts his unique flavour on the genre. Dont let the short length of this track fool you it packs all the funk you could possibly need in the first three minutes. THAT B1. Archetype: Marz Attackz This prolific artist is really coming into his own. Having released material on Black Nation, Ongaku, Creation Rebel and his own 21/22 Corp imprint you have to wonder where Charles Noel gets time to make all this sick music. His new style of chopped up breakbeat techno (please no new sub-genres) works perfect in its electro incarnation heard on this e.p.. We need more where this came from and soon B2. Cron: Interrupt What better way to wrap up the e.p. than by bringing back the artist behind the highly successful Cron - Scalable Architectures, released almost 4 years ago on 21/22 Corp. Todd Sines (Perlon, Force Inc. Planet E, Residual, B.Pitch) has unleashed some incredibly diverse and deep electronic music and continues his tradition here for the sophisticated afterparty. There are already plans for continuing the Blackout Theory project with more singles in the works so if you have enjoyed the first two releases you can relax in comfort knowing there is more where this came from. **KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR NEW PROJECTS FROM CHAIR in 2002** Available through Roundtable Distribution. ph: 416 492 2222 fax: 416 492 2277 www.roundtablemusic.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] For the complete Chair catalogue please go to: www.techno.ca/chair [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- c h a i r r e c o r d i n g s ...eclectic electric depicting life with a view from a chair... www.techno.ca/chair [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
