Coming from a DJM-600 owner, I'd avoid the Pioneer.. I think that it colors the sound and it definitely picks up alot of noise across the digital bus. Other complaints include peak level meters that don't make sense, and occasional noise when changing the crossfader assignments. I am currently looking to sell it and pick up a Rane MP-44. Also, the effects are over-used and cheesy sounding (for the most part).
