Coming from a DJM-600 owner, I'd avoid the Pioneer.. I think that it
colors the sound and it definitely picks up alot of noise across the
digital bus.  Other complaints include peak level meters that don't make
sense, and occasional noise when changing the crossfader assignments.  I
am currently looking to sell it and pick up a Rane MP-44.  Also, the
effects are over-used and cheesy sounding (for the most part).

hey i have the option to choose between 2 mixers (this is for home use).
1.pioneer djm500 - i like this one but he feels kinda softie to me.
2.vestax pcv 270 - this one is more riggid but i don`t know. i would
