Sorry for the complete lack of topic. I'm going to New York in the near future and am wondering if anyone has any tips on cheap accomodation, so I can save cash for my real purpose: record shopping - I know of the likes of dance tracks etc but I'm interested in things like street markets that might be worth an early morning wake up call, or further afield shops - for jazz, soul, disco, house and stuff. Also suggestions for good nights out I might not already know about are more than welcome. If anyone with any info could let me know off list I'd be massively thankful.
