Can anyone confirm or deny that the version of Die Domina on that bootleg is
actually pressed at the wrong speed??? or is that the way Ron Hardy used to
play it or what? Dr. Attaman had dropped that knowledge on me.. he's got an
original. (Kraftwerk side project, right?)

Yes there is... can't recall all the tracks exactly but there's a killer
re-edit of Tom Tom Club's "Wordy Rappinghood" which to me is worth the
expensive price. I was told that the vol. 1 are actually reel-to-reel re-edits
that Ron Hardy made himself? (or were they just ones he played?)

In general I think the cuts Vol. 1 are harder to find than the ones on Vol.2
Like, isn't Kraftwerk's 'House Phone' on Vol. 2? Like that is a great cut, ok,
but you can find an original 12" of it anywhere for a fair price....

a great link on the Chicago's Music Box era and Ron Hardy era is (former
313'er) Jason's Martins site:

and while you're there check out his incredible shots of the Detroit's Music
Institute reunion party after DEMF 2001
