:: stephane vera aka teknostep ::

DJ'ing in 1990. While in Ottawa he hosted "Planet Rave" on CKCU 93.1 FM,
"Sound Clash" on CHUO 89.1 FM, and "Trancefusion" CHUO 89.1 FM.

Stephane is well known across North America and Europe for his releases
on Roy Davis Jr's Undaground Therapy label, Chicago's Nite Life
Collective, Toronto Underground, and Toronto's new Electronic Revival
Association. Stephane has also worked with: Roy Davis Jr (XL), Abacus
(Guidance), Brian Harden (Relief), Hollis P Munro (Stickman), Mark
LuvDup (LuvDup), Ivana Santilli (Island), Ellery Colles (Hybrid), Max
Graham (Hope), Sunkissed (Woodwork), Revolver (Revolver), Luc Raymond
(Tag), Miguel Graca (Ferox), Fred Everything (20:20 Vision), and
Prototype 909 (Caperinia).

We are truly excited to have Stephane joining us -- he has promised a

:: peter grove aka sunkissed ::

Through silky smooth production emerges a new textural blend of rhythm
and melody - a sound which seeks fusion in the purity of techno and the
warmth of deep house. The music of Sunkissed, while retaining a unique
style, pays tribute to Detroit-influenced techno and to the progression
of electro-minimalism. In search of absolute expression, this Canadian
producer makes a valid contribution to the current tech-house movement,
while echoing the sounds of legends like Plus 8 Records and Basic
Channel. Sunkissed seeks a new perception of thought provoking dance
music, crafting a deep, soulful groove that arouses both physical
stimulation and a state of inner reflection.

With his most recent release on Woodwork, Sunkissed has shown a new
level in his development. These tracks are the fruition of a sound
cultivated over four years playing club and party circuits as a live PA.
Career highlights include over 50 live performances including Austria's
Steirischer Herbst festival and Peace Parade, as well as Trancendance,
Fukhouse, and other Canadian events and festivals...

Expect Peter to deliver a beautiful set of techhouse, complete with
sneak previews of new *house* material from the forthcoming Candlewax
label!

:: thomas & scott aka ones & twos ::

Ones & Twos, otherwise known as Thomas Robbs and Scott Lazaruk, play
tagteam sets ranging from deep house, garage, and latin grooves, all the
way into harder techhouse sounds. Of course they play individual sets as
well - but a tagteam set imparts a certain energy that is not to be
missed! These boys will be closing down the evening with a soulful
techhouse and garage set.

:: luke ballon ::

Luke has been dj'ing at clubs and parties since 1992. Originally
specializing in American hip hop and British trip hop, he now spins deep
riviera house from France, Northern Europe and Chicago. All that Luke
asks from a track is a tasty disco bass line, fat kicks, crispy hi hats
and a promise to rock the crowd.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

:: mike foulkes ::

The music Mike Foulkes spins lies somewhere within the realm of techno.
It can be described as having a tech-house foundation that can easily
support both full-on banging techno as well as the sweet sounds of
subterranean house. The most important aspect of spinning for Mike is to
animate the floor... "The dj must be versatile, his sole purpose for
being behind the decks is to create. He is the architect, the prime
mover, and is responsible for all that lies within his sonic phield."
(Excerpt from Tek-Tama, vol.25)

:: dev null ::

For Dev Null, music has always been a definitive and driving force. From
Europe to New York to Toronto, he has developed an eclectic style best
characterized by gradual layering that transcends the relative
constraints of any one piece of vinyl. From classic house to more
progressive forms, Dev Null engages parties with a solid rhythm
foundation and a dose of infectious vibes.
