Did anyone mention Jochem Paap's "three o' three" under the pseudonymn "Pulic Energy". Hard acid before it became almost cliche. it was released on a compilation called "Probe-Mission USA" in '93. It also features various Hawtin aliases such as "Circuit Breaker" (great acidic track called overkill), "Cybersonik" (almost like hardcore) and his "Up!" project with a track called "Spriritual High" That last track being my favorite (besides "303") with a magical sweeping synth line that washes over you like a warm shower (how you like that metaphor). Of course a good Fuse track too. It also has a track on it by Gianelli, Dan Bell, and Richie but IMHO not their best stuff. all around it was a great introduction to the harder sounds of quality techno. with "three 0 three" making it worth purchasing alone. I still listen to it. If you ever see this CD please get it.
as for 12"s it's gotta be the kooky scientist's "O.L.D. vs N.E.A.U." (the remix). Quirky, funky, electronically (and sonically) mesmerizing in mpls Myster >How about Teste's "The Wipe" too?Track 07 > > > >On Wed, 15 Sep 1999, James Bucknell wrote: > >> >> >> don't forget 'pullover' by speedy j.Track 09 >> >> up there with 'f.u.' and 'loop'. ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
