Jeff Mills on NYE has been on 313 for a while. :) More info follows below: The event is called Welcome 2000 and is presented by Future Entertainment and Hardware. Also heaps of great local DJs and live acts including Voiteck. It is to be held at Sheds 2 and 4 at the docks in Melbourne. Tickets on sale October 1, $120 plus booking fee. There will be an event programme out soon with all information. Comments: Awesome line-up I must say with something for everyone. FGD and Murk are kinda the same act really. FGD is live and Murk DJing, I would assume. By contrast Earthcore specialise in outdoor events usually with a trancey theme. They are yet to reveal their plans though I have heard at least one good name over the past few months that definitely isn't trance. It will be a week long event, I believe. They wanted it at Ayers Rock but the Indigenous Australians have said no, as understandably they don't want all these lil' ravers crawling over their spiritual lands. Now a national park is a possibility. C
