Soulphiction (aka Jackmate ) featuring Susana Roskony
Michel Baumann aka Soulphiction/Jackmate e.t.c. knows a thing or 2 about how
to move a dancefloor . Afterall he has been djaying since 1985 . Drawing on
from the music of chicago , & detroit and adding a bit of his own sparkle ,
Michel makes the sweetest of house music under his Soulphiction guise . His
talents have been rewarded by releases by some of the leading european
labels , such as Playhouse , Perlon , Sonar Kollektiv e.t.c. Not content
with all this , he is also the man behind the fantastic Philpot label
releasing material by artists such as Dj Koze , Move D ++. He is also known
as Jackmate and is also part of the fantastic Manmadescience project .On
this occassion , he will be joined on stage ; by long term collaborator ;
Suzana Rozkosny ; on live vocals . Not your average live set then!

John Thomas :
I am very excited to finally catch a dj set by this awesome Paris based dj &
fine producer . First time in London . Yipee ! John Thomas is a very
technical dj , who moves from house to techno , without breaking a sweat and
he always maintains the heat and keeps things very groovy . A resident , at
the legendary Rex Club , in Paris . His productions have been admired the
world over & he counts ; Laurent Garnier (who has been spotted dancing ,
whenever possible , when John is playing at the Rex ) , Jeff Mills ,
Technasia , Rob Hood , Underground Resistance , Luciano , Ricardo Villalobos
; amongst some of his many fans . Logistic Records is founded upon some of
his most engaging releases . Technasia are rumoured to have kick started
Sino , because they were so eager to release some of his work . Come catch
this phenomenal dj in action !
