Sure the film is really well done and it was a kick to see theo, omar s (chillin in the studio?) and Rick Wilhite on the subway. I'm just tired of the same old keep it real ranting. Especially in an adidas ad.

Spot on James, Adidas doesn't care much for Detroit.

However, Theo does, and now his sound, positive, wry thoughts about his
city are on a film which will be seen by more than people who already
know those thoughts well, not to mention, that for those who didn't know
(before) but had heard his name, there is now a face to put to the name.

Theo Parrish's tone in the little skit encapsulates a lot of what you
could say a lot of Detroiters are 'like': wry, tough, but soulful - and
all that the latter implies. These are 'humanizing' characteristics for
those who 'know' and for those 'don't know' alike - (remember! :)

These are a few positive things which the film tends to portray, in my
book.

Seen in 'It's That Detroit Sh***' Discogs forum.

I just saw this looping on the Berlin subway tv station. I guess it's an ad for that super grassroots company Adidas.
