Well, from what I remember hearing about him playing at an after party for the first DEMF, he played a very different set than the usual (ie a more Detroit influenced set), so it might be that bad. Heck, he is a nice breath of fresh air to what cr*p talent that regularly visits my town. Just my .02. Sadly, the face of what is considered techno is changing. :(
And down with these progressive turncoats that now produce whack, imitation techno! They give techno a bad name. ----- Original Message ---- From: Frank Glazer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: 313@hyperreal.org Sent: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 2:48:59 PM Subject: Re: (313) Josh Wink @ Movment 08 i think the whole hullabaloo over ripping off dan bell's track was bulllllllllllshit. doesn't anybody remember the 50s when five different artists would do the same song in their own style? i think where josh went wrong with that was not crediting dan for inspiration. lame, but still, i think the people who got so upset by it were overreacting.
