If I remember correctly, the Human League did a "live" appearance on Countdown (an Australian video music hits kinda show back in the 80s), they obviously used vinyl as the medium to mime too back then (you can see where this is going). Halfway through the song, the vinyl started skipping in an endless loop. Looks of confusion and embarrassment ensued until they walked off stage ;)
