The original is lush, but the remixes are by Galaxy2Galaxy and DJ S2,
and bring the Detroit funk. In perusing the 313 archives (so I don't
look like a complete chump) -- the S2 remix has been around since
Santiago put it on his 2005 mix CD. The 12" is from last year, but
Boomkat just added it for Mp3/Flac download release.
The Raiders of the Lost Arp Album "Arrival" and Tema5 are pretty
sweet as well.
There used to be a lot of talk about the Berlin/Detroit axis how about
the Italy/Detroit axis? ;-) Raiders of the Lost Arp's "home label"
Final Frontier is Italian but I imagine the name came as much from UR
as Star Trek.
