Thanks for the heads-up. I was beginning to pull my hair out.

Follow-up question : how would I go about updating Java on CentOS 7 ?

On my existing installation, I enabled the CR (Continuous Release) repository
(full with updates for the upcoming 7.8 release), but even with this, here's
what I have:

$ rpm -qa | grep ^java-
java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.242.b08-1.el7.x86_64
java-1.7.0-openjdk-headless-1.7.0.251-2.6.21.1.el7.x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.242.b08-1.el7.x86_64
java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.251-2.6.21.1.el7.x86_64

Do I have to enable some third-party package repository for this ?

Thanks & cheers from South France,

Niki
