I bet you can answer that question yourself, Chuck. :)

Say you have an old product that some people use. You don’t maintain or update 
that old product because you have several new version of the product that you 
do are actively maintaining and supporting. 

There is a feature that really is only useful for some Windows 7 and Windows 8 
users. And Windows 7, while still used by many, is 2 version behind the current 
version, Windows 10. And everyone hates and doesn’t want to deal with Windows 
8. And Windows 10 doesn’t need this feature because it is built into the 
operating system. 

So do you put in the time, effort and money to support this old feature?

Shocker if 4D says they will support PDF Creator 2.x in future versions of 4D. 
Especially since v1.7.4 works just fine now. Even bigger shocker if they say 
they will create new versions of v14 or v15 to support this. And v14 will be 
end-of-life in about 6 months once v16 is released in Q1 of 2017. But 4D has 
shocked me before with their decisions…
